The seed for the nectar of the gods was sown in the barren desert. Many millennia have passed since barley has bloomed in the inhospitable climate of Rajasthan. For our uncompromising quest to create the finest spirits, we use the traditional Indian six row barley, which is cultivated using old indigenous practices that rely on organic and sustainable methods. The yields may be smaller, but it lends a fruity and floral distinctive taste to the spirits.


Learning from the forefathers of Malt, we take pride in maintaining authenticity to the original recipes and processes of making Single Malt. However, our passion for process does not let us stop there. At Indri, we believe that the process of making Single Malt is one of recognizing new nuances and layers in every step. And with that, we transcend our process with new permutations leading to refreshingly exquisite flavors of Single Malt each time. These little observations make headway for endless discoveries in the way our different Single Malt expressions come to be. An ever-giving process deliberated to experiment for an infinity of unique expressions to come!




India’s First Triple Cask Single Malt


Indri single malt is distilled in Indri, Haryana, near the Himalayan foothills by the Yamuna basin. This remarkable single malt is made from indigenous six-row barley grown for hundreds of years in Rajasthan. Matured with care since 2012, Indri Trini is also the first Indian whisky to be produced in three different wooden barrels: ex-bourbon, ex-red wine, ex-PX sherry.

Dru is a cask strength expression from Indri, where selected ex-bourbon barrels are handpicked and married together by our master blender to offer you an experience that will awaken your senses. In Sanskrit, ‘Dru’ means wood, tree or a vessel made of wood. In ancient Indian mythology, Dru was a vessel in which ‘soma’ (a drink) was collected and offered to the Gods.

Diwali Collector’s Edition


The Diwali Collector’s Edition is a highly anticipated annual release launched each year to celebrate the spirit of Diwali. Crafted in extremely limited quantities, each bottle is individually numbered, making it a true collector’s item. This special edition showcases the finest craftsmanship of Indri, featuring unique cask finishes matured in India’s subtropical climate. The result is a rich, complex single malt that reflects both tradition and innovation. The 2023 and 2025 editions received global acclaim, winning Best Whisky in the World.
